The children were absolutely brilliant in our drama activities last week. Some of them chose to dress up as the Superhero (Elliot) in our story as they assumed the role of the main character. With great dramatic flair, and much laughter, the children asked and answered the questions that they had written for Elliot. Can you work out who our superheroes really are?
We’ve reached the end of term and it’s been so busy that I haven’t had a chance to blog! Please enjoy a selection of photos from our Christmas activities. I have included a range of photos: Christmas parties, a visit from Santa, Christmas shopping, Christmas dinner, our KS1 Christmas show, our school trip to the pantomime and posting our letters to Santa. It’s been a whirlwind the last few weeks, but thoroughly enjoyable. I was particularly proud of the children’s confident and outstanding performances both singing, speaking and acting in our Christmas show (Ralph the Reindeer) and playing the ocarinas and hand bells at carols at the gate. Have a lovely break everyone, and I’ll look forward to seeing you all in 2020. Merry Christmas!
Local authors came to visit us too! The children were amazed to meet Mark, who owns The Sea Garden on Bexhill seafront. Mark and Barbara read part of their book, The Sea Elf and the Happy Stone, to the children and signed books. The atmospheric storytelling held the children captivated, especially since their story is set in Bexhill.
