This week, Year 3 are learning the days of the week in French. We changed the words to ‘Camptown Races’ to help us to learn the vocabulary. After singing the song through many, many times, the children were ready to sing it in a round of four parts. The children assure me that they will never ever forget their French days of the week!
Reception and Key Stage One would like to present their performance of Out of the Ark’s “Fun at the Seaside”. I have included photos of the children having fun at the seaside along with Key Stage One’s seaside art following our trip to the beach.
We had a very noisy start to the day today with a visit from The Fun Factory. Amidst their usual array of songs, dances and magic tricks, Beverly and John shared personal family anecdotes and photos about visits to their seaside when they and their grandparents were young. To the children’s enormous delight, the show finished with a Punch and Judy show.
Thank you to The Fun Factory for a very entertaining and informative show. What was your favourite part KS1?
