Thank You Letters From Year Two

All of the children had a wonderful Christmas holiday and came back to school this week eager to learn. 🙂

Obviously, show and tell was focused around the exciting Christmas diaries that the children wrote over the break and talk soon turned to Christmas presents that the children gave and received.

We hope you enjoy reading our thank you letters. I have sent a copy home to all parents to forward to the appropriate person!

Many thanks and Happy New Year! 🙂

Letters to Santa

Goodness me, what an exciting day! 🙂

Between rehearsals for the ‘Carols at the Gate’, we managed to finish our letters to Father Christmas. It was with great excitement that we lined up and walked to the post box outside the front of the school. After posting our letters one by one, we read the collection times on the post box and decided that the postman would collect our letters at 5pm tonight.

The children told me that when they get to the sorting office, the letters for Santa are all put in a separate room and when everyone has gone home to bed, they disappear! It must be the magic in the reindeer stamp that makes them fly to the North Pole. 🙂

I have taken a colour photocopy of your children’s letters to Santa and will be sending them home in their book bags tonight. 🙂 I thought you might like to see what they have written…
