Today was the day. Seven of the ten children in year two were determined that their art work should burn in our reenactment of the Great Fire of London. Weather conditions were perfect this morning, so amid cheering, we burned our Tudor houses to the ground!
Year 2: This brings us to the end of our fire topic. What things did you enjoy?
Year 2 wanted to share their letters and some art work inspired by their trip to the Mohair Centre.
To celebrate World Book Day, Key Stage One and Reception came dressed as a character from a book. The children in Year 2 introduced their character during circle time this morning. We thought you might like to see some pictures of the children and their drawings and a short introduction to their characters. The children will be bringing home a certificate and a book token in their book bags tonight.
